Achtergrond en Referenties

Van 1995 tot 1998 startte en coördineerde de Psychological Therapies Research Centre van de Universiteit van Leeds in Groot Brittannië de ontwikkeling van CORE. Samen met een multidisciplinair team van onderzoekers en ervaren GGZ professionals ontwikkelden zij het CORE systeem. Na 1998 werd de verdere ontwikkeling en support van het systeem onafhankelijk van (overheids) subsidies en werd het als zelfstandig product op de markt gebracht door CORE.

Het CORE systeem heeft altijd in de belangstelling gestaan van onderzoekers en wetenschappers. Er is een sterke link geweest met het onderzoek naar meetinstrumenten in de geestelijke gezondheidszorg.
